Google announced today (Thursday, February 21st 200 that the Cleveland Clinic will begin a pilot project to link patients health information with Google personal health records. (click here for full statement)

Medical libraries are failing!!! Start-up companies are using 2.0 technologies instead of us. A plethora of social networking sites are coming online to help link patients to support, doctors, and making it easier to make appoints.

2.0 and Medical Librarians

I was deeply saddened when I read the results of a survey conducted by the MLA. In essence, medical librarians are horrible at adopting 2.0 technologies. These technologies can improve the lives of our patients, students, and users.
