NIH MedlinePlus Magazine

The National Institutes of Health publishes a consumer health magazine called NIH MedlinePlus Magazine. This magazine is publishes quarterly and focuses on the latest and most authoritative health topics. In each issue, you will find interviews with celebrities and national figures. This quarter’s issue has an interview with American Idol’s Randy Jackson and his battle with diabetes. Past issues have featured Wynonna Judd on controlling her asthma, an interview with Kirk Douglas on surviving a stroke, and Sam Donaldson’s cancer survival tips. Other articles in the current issue include the benefits of losing weight, a feature article about diabetes, how to detect and treat kidney disease, emotions and health.
